This was practically demonstrated on Thursday at the University of Ilorin, as Hon. (Dr) Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed, popularly known as 'POLAM', graced the historic 305th Inaugural Lecture of Professor Mariam Adepeju AbdulRaheem-Mustapha.

Representing the good people of Irepo, Oorelope, and Olorunsogo Federal Constituency at the 10th National Assembly, Hon. Olaide Mohammed proved exactly why he is affectionately called the "Prince of Peace." Arriving very early before the auditorium filled up, the grassroots lawmaker shunned the typical VIP grandstanding. He sat patiently, following the intellectual discourse with rapt attention until the very end, visibly filled with immense pride to see his constituency produce such an outstanding "Woman of Valor" in the academic world.

Politics Without Bitterness: A Display of Brotherhood
At the close of the lecture, the Federal Lawmaker, who serves as the Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Pensions, turned the auditorium into a theater of love and constituency bonding. He moved effortlessly through the crowd, radiating joy and exchanging warm pleasantries with his constituents. 

In a beautiful display of "politics without bitterness," Hon. POLAM shared a warm and brotherly embrace with the Acting Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Chief Bayo Lawal. Although belonging to different political parties, both leaders share the same proud roots of Kisi, proving that community development and brotherhood will always trump partisan divides. 

He further extended his deep respects to the paramount ruler of Igboholand, Oba Dr. Joel Olalere Olawuwo, the Alepata of Igboho, his high chiefs, the revered Imams, and other dignitaries, moving with the royal grace expected of a proud son of the esteemed Adelabu Royal family of Kisi.
