ABEOKUTA — The battle for the Oke-Mosan Government House—is heating up rapidly as the political war chest for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as ‘Yayi’, receives a massive boost ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial elections.


In what is being described as a clear show of immense grassroots mobilization, a powerful support group known as the Youth Progressive Movement (YPM) has officially handed over 27 branded campaign buses to the Senator's camp. 


This donation is designed to aggressively drive grassroots mobilization and logistical support across all wards and local governments in Ogun State.


Senator Adeola, who recently emerged as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in Ogun State, continues to consolidate his grip on the party's structure. Following his emergence, the Senator had expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and key APC leaders for their endorsement.


The unvarnished reality in Ogun State politics today is that Yayi’s camp is not leaving anything to chance. With deep logistical deployments like the YPM bus donation already hitting the streets, the Yayi political machinery is sending a clear message to all opposition forces: The race for 2027 has officially begun, and they are fully equipped for the road ahead.
