HISTORIC MILESTONE: FUNATO Set for Maiden Semester Examinations as VC, Prof. Babayemi, Charges Students on Excellence

History is about to be made in Okeho as the Federal University of Agriculture, Okeho (FUNATO), commences its very first semester examinations. This marks a monumental milestone for the institution since its historic establishment on May 22, 2025. 


In a powerful and inspiring pre-examination message, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Olaniyi Jacob Babayemi, called on students, staff, parents, and security agencies to collaborate closely to ensure a seamless, peaceful, and highly successful exercise.

FUNATO First Semester Examination is Here

The first semester examination at FUNATO is a great moment in our history. It is the first examination since the University was established on 22 May 2025. This makes the exercise special and memorable for every student, staff member, parent, and stakeholder across Nigeria.

I encourage all students to give their very best so they can come out with flying colors. This is the time for discipline, dedication, determination, and the decision to succeed. Those who settle for ordinary results may miss the chance for excellent results. Therefore, buckle up, stay focused, and prepare well for every paper. Eat good food, sleep well, rest enough, and enter the examination hall with a positive and confident mind. 



 Parents should encourage their wards to aim for excellence. Please avoid frequent phone calls or unnecessary visits that may distract students during this important period.

I also call on all staff to be punctual, responsible, and available for proper supervision and support throughout the examination. 

 Our security agencies must remain more watchful than ever. Let everyone stay alert, stand firm, and work together to ensure a peaceful, fair, and successful examination. 


 I wish every student success and God's guidance throughout.
