Dr. Oladipupo M.Oluwafemi

IGBOHO— True greatness is rarely achieved in comfort; it is forged in the fires of perseverance, late-night studies, and unwavering determination. Today, the ancient and proud town of Igboho stands taller as one of its most diligent sons, Dr. Oladipupo Michael Oluwafemi, officially joins the prestigious league of educational elites.

Just last week, this brilliant mind successfully completed and defended his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Technology (with a specialization in Instructional Technology) at the renowned University of Ilorin, cementing his status as a true ambassador of Igboho Land.

The Anatomy of a Scholar: A Journey of Doggedness
Dr. Oladipupo’s academic trajectory is a powerful blueprint of consistency and vision. His quest for knowledge began with a First Degree in Chemistry Education from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, which he bagged in 2012.

Never one to rest on his oars, he proceeded to the University of Ilorin, earning his Master’s Degree in Educational Technology (Instructional Technology) in 2018. Now, in 2026, he has reached the pinnacle of academic pursuit by earning his Ph.D. in the same specialized field.

What makes Dr. Oladipupo’s story incredibly thought-provoking and emotional is his ability to balance a highly demanding professional career with rigorous academic warfare. Serving the nation as an Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics 1, he has shown the youths of Igboho that one can actively protect the country’s borders and secure its future while simultaneously expanding their own intellectual horizons. His success is a testament to the fact that with doggedness, no ceiling is too high to break.

The Village That Raised the Scholar: A Heartfelt Appreciation
In the true spirit of an Igboho son, Dr. Oladipupo recognizes that he did not walk this arduous path alone. His educational success is the culmination of personal grit backed by the steadfast support of mentors, leaders, and destiny helpers.

A profound and special appreciation goes to Dr. Adeshina Abraham Adetona, who stood as a foundational pillar of support throughout this rigorous educational journey.

Furthermore, deep and heartfelt gratitude is extended to the great and wonderful individuals whose leadership, encouragement, and presence made this monumental achievement possible:
* Emeritus Professor Dibu Ojerinde
* Daddy Gbade Alabi
* Mr Rafiu Olarinre Adeladan
* Hon. Olumide Abiodun Ojerinde

A New Era for Igboho
Dr. Oladipupo Michael Oluwafemi’s elevation is not just a personal victory; it is a communal triumph. He has proven that the sons and daughters of Igboho are built for global stages. He is a worthy son, a role model for the younger generation, and a beacon of hope that hard work still pays.

Ayekooto Media NG congratulates Dr. Oladipupo on this massive milestone. May your newly acquired knowledge continue to pave the way for extraordinary breakthroughs in your career and for the betterment of our beloved Igboho Land.

   IBADAN, OYO STATE — The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has formally entered another crucial phase of the 2027 electoral process with the publication and display of the names, credentials and other particulars of candidates contesting the governorship and State House of Assembly elections. The exercise, carried out on Saturday, August 29, 2026, included the display of candidates’ particulars on Form EC9, giving political parties, candidates, journalists and members of the public an opportunity to scrutinise the information submitted to the electoral commission. For Oyo State, the development is particularly significant. Reports based on the latest INEC display indicate that 16 candidates are in the 2027 governorship race, representing different political parties. But there is an important lesson for voters: a name announced by a political party is not automatically the same thing as the name finally displayed by INEC. That distinction has become critical in...

By
Image
     At the jamb Headquarters,  This morning In the corridors of power, public perception is often a carefully crafted illusion. To the outside world, a public institution can be painted as a shining beacon of reform, financial accountability, and administrative brilliance. But to the civil servants who turn the administrative wheels—those who endure the daily realities behind closed doors—the story can be vastly, painfully different. As a new leadership officially resumed duty at the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) headquarters today, a striking visual spectacle unfolded, captured in numerous video and audio recordings. Staff members across various offices abandoned official norms and clad themselves in stark white attire—a traditional African symbol of victory, liberation, and joy following the end of an era. To the casual observer, it was a routine celebration. But to the affected staff and aggrieved former employees, it was an emotional outburst f...
