OKEHO, OYO STATE— In a grand show of solidarity and regional unity, the management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Okeho, warmly received a high-level royal delegation led by the Alepata of Igboho, Oba (Dr.) Joel Olalere Olawuwo (Olasorogan IV), JP, yesterday.

The historic visit, which highlights the deep synergy between traditional institutions and educational advancement in Oyo State, was aimed at physically demonstrating the unwavering support of the people towards the institution.

Speaking on the significance of the visit, Oba Olawuwo, who also serves as the Chairman of the Oorelope Traditional Council, emphasized that the establishment of the university is a monumental victory for the region. As the very first Federal educational institution situated in the Oke-Ogun corridor, the monarch noted that its success remains a collective regional responsibility.

The University's management expressed profound gratitude to the royal father and his entourage. They noted that such high-profile backing from paramount traditional rulers provides a strong foundational pillar for the institution's community relations, peaceful coexistence, and long-term infrastructural development.

Concluding the visit, Oba Olawuwo offered royal blessings and prayers for the continued progress, expansion, and academic excellence of the University.
