Hailing from Arowomole in Ogbomoso South, Alagbe’s story is one of true national integration. While his roots are deeply entrenched in the rich heritage of Ogbomoso, his formative years were spent in the North, attending Jekadafari Primary School and All Saints College in Gombe State. This unique upbringing forged a detribalized leader with a broad national worldview—a man who understands diversity, builds bridges effortlessly, and knows how to unite different demographics for a common goal.

The Financial Maestro: 15 Years of Wealth Management

At a time when Oyo State requires a prudent manager of resources, Alagbe presents over 15 years of rigorous, top-tier banking experience. Starting from the trenches as a Relationship Manager in 2010, he spent a decade driving business growth before rising to become a Cash Management Officer, and later, a Branch Service Manager. Today, he operates as a Regional Service Manager and Strategic Partnership Head. 

As a certified professional banker and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ACIB), Alagbe is no stranger to balancing budgets, driving operational efficiency, and fostering economic growth. He understands how micro and macro-economies work. If elected, he brings a banker's stringent discipline to the state treasury—ensuring every Naira works for the people of Oyo State.

A Proven Job Creator in Oyo State

Unlike career politicians whose only business is government, Alagbe is an established employer of labor right here in Oyo State. He does not just promise economic development; he is already actively driving it across multiple sectors:

Agriculture: Ensuring local food security and rural employment as the Chairman of Oko Oba King’s Farm in Iseyin.

Education: Shaping the next generation as Chairman of Vinespring International Model Academy in Ibadan.

Hospitality & Real Estate: Boosting local tourism and housing as the Managing Director of The Arena Hotel in Bodija and Capana Hostels and Properties Ltd.

Consulting: Serving as a Senior Partner at Eleniyan & Co Audit and Consulting Firm in Lagos.

He knows what it takes to start a business, pay salaries, and survive harsh economic climates. He understands the pains of Oyo State market women, farmers, and SME owners because he walks in their shoes daily.

From Aluta to the Archive: A History of Bold Leadership

Alagbe’s leadership was not forged overnight. It was tested and proven in the fierce fires of student activism at the University of Ibadan (UI). Graduating with a Second Class Upper in Philosophy in 2010, he served as the President of the Faculty of Arts, PRO of the Student Union Transition Committee, and ultimately rose to the pinnacle of student advocacy as the Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in 2009. He fought fearlessly for the youth then, and his mandate proves he is ready to fight for them now.

       The Strategic Visionary

To govern a modern state requires advanced strategic thinking. Alagbe is uniquely equipped with a Master’s degree in Political Science (specializing in Defense and Strategic Studies) from Babcock University. Furthermore, his current pursuit of a PhD in International Relations—with a specific focus on Trade Integration and Economic Partnerships (expected in 2026)—signals his grand vision: to open Oyo State up to global direct foreign investment. 

Backed by elite global certifications in Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia and Cyber Attacks from the Tandon School of Engineering, he is bringing 21st-century, tech-driven governance to the Agodi Secretariat.
